I received this beautiful little bouquet of lilacs from my friend, Lucy, last night. When I went up to bed, I put it on my nightstand so I could smell the sweetness while falling asleep. Then, today, when I still could not get enough of its gorgeousness, I painted it.
It appears different in technique to your other paintings. Is this a new direction? I like it very much.
